Seeking Experienced Bakers

At our bakery & café, we aim to delight our customers with exceptional food and drink and equally exceptional hospitality. Expectations & Duties

· Scale ingredients with accuracy and speed

· Mix starters and doughs

· Follow recipes to create bread, pastries, cookies and other products

· Safely and carefully use commercial baking equipment, including large mixers, convection ovens and rack ovens

· Cleaning production areas and equipment

· Equipment maintenance

· Additional tasks as needed, including taking inventory, packaging products, assisting in a class, collating pre-orders, etc.

Our second interview will require candidate to spend time with baking staff during production to demonstrate baking skills.

PLEASE NOTE THAT SHIFTS BEGIN AT 4 AM OR 6 AM, 

Qualifications

· Baking experience or interest with willingness to learn (NOTE: Production baking is not at all like home baking. For example, doughs can weigh 35 to 100 pounds, so it is a physically demanding job.)

· Ability to communicate effectively and work with others

· Integrity and trustworthiness

· Ability to work as a team
